HELICAL GEARBOXES

Helical gearboxes are a type of gearbox that use helical gears, which have teeth that are angled at a specific degree, typically between 10 to 30 degrees. Helical gears are used in a variety of applications in power transmission for speed reduction and torque multiplication. They are known for their smooth operation, low noise, and high efficiency compared to other types of gears. They are widely used in industrial and commercial applications, such as power plants, material handling, fertilizer plant, sugar plant, pharmaceutical industries, chemical industries, plastic industries, textile industries.

Helical gears are also more durable and can handle higher loads. Some of the advantages of helical gearboxes include high load capacity, and low noise operation. They are reversible (can be driven from output to input for speed multiplication and torque reduction)

They also come in a variety of sizes, ratios, and mounting styles such as Parallel Shaft Helical Gear Boxes, Shaft Mounted Helical Gear Boxes, In-line Helical Gear Boxes in Flange Mounted, Shaft Mounted and Foot Mounted versions, to suit different application needs.

Helical gearboxes are also known by the name Helical Reducers or Helical Gear Drives or Helical Drives. These are one of the most commonly used Gear Boxes in Industry.
